Empowering women since 1950
We are part of a global volunteer organization that improves the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.
The name Soroptimist means “best for women.” Soroptimists are women at their best helping other women to be their best.
We work to empower women every day

As part of a global organization with clubs in over 120 countries, this local chapter focuses on creating opportunities that help women achieve economic independence and reach their full potential.

Helping Women and Girls Live their Dreams
FEATURE
Celebrating our 75th Club Anniversary!
We proudly celebrate 75 years as a Soroptimist club in North & West Vancouver, honouring our legacy of empowering women and girls, fostering community service, and creating lasting change through education and commitment.
We are grateful for our members and the community that we serve!
Our focus is on education because educated women and girls are:
Less vulnerable to sex traffickers
More likely to leave a domestic violence situation and not return
Less likely to live in poverty
Able to raise stronger healthier families
